Project[edit]

One project that has been ongoing for years but isn't done yet is creating an article for each season in HURDAT. Those remaining missing are:

Missing articles (1950-present)?[edit]

The coverage from 1950 to present is substantial and fairly complete. According to the article request page, there are only eight missing articles. However, that may incorrect, as some are unlikely to have enough information to sustain an article. Therefore, below is a new list for every named landfalling US hurricane (bolded) or tropical storm (since US has more info) since 1950.

In addition, these have made landfall as a hurricane anywhere in the Atlantic and don't have an article

I have nominated List of wettest tropical cyclones in the United States for featured list removal here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets the featured list criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks; editors may declare to "Keep" or "Delist" the article's featured status. The instructions for the review process are here.
