Userboxes for WikiProjects are inconsistent[edit]

Crystal kthememgr.svg This user is a member of
WikiProject Userboxes.
MI-icon.svg This user is a member of WikiProject Michigan.
Karl Johanssvamp, Iduns kokbok.jpg This user is a member of WikiProject Fungi.
WikiProject United States logo.svg This user is a member of WikiProject United States. Unclesamwantyou.jpg

There isn't, as far as I can see evidenced by putting them side by side (or top to bottom) any consistency to the way that people are linking from the WikiProject Userboxes. The way the following Userboxes link, and display are different, notably the United States Wikiproject which has two images in the box. What should be done? Jasonaltenburg (talk) 14:04, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Well you could just accept the diversity. - Ahunt (talk) 18:48, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
Currently, that's what I'm doing :) Jasonaltenburg (talk) 15:58, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
If you're talking about the inconsistent justification, you could always ad0 parserfunctions to consistify them on your own page. –xenotalk 18:28, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

userboxes with external links?[edit]

Is this an appropriate userbox? [redacted] Unomi (talk) 08:50, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Looks more like an advertisement to me - Ahunt (talk) 18:04, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
  • I thinks someone deleted that as a G10. As such, I've removed the reproduction of same. –xenotalk 18:05, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
You will find the same userbox used everywhere [this image] is. Unomi (talk) 18:17, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
That's beyond the scope of our project, and being discussed at a more appropriate venue here: Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard#Other uses of the banner outside the above templatexenotalk 18:26, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
My original question still stands, would such a userbox be considered to be compatible with standing norms regarding userboxes? Unomi (talk) 18:50, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
I don't think there's anything prohibiting external links per se. As long as they aren't masked to look like an internal link (i.e. they don't use plainlink span) then they should be taken on a case-by-case. –xenotalk 18:53, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

What is the opinion on userboxes such as this one? Unomi (talk) 05:36, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

ITN userbox[edit]

Is there a userbox to denote how many contribution an editor has made to ITN? Something similar to the DYK userbox perhaps? Mjroots (talk) 06:18, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

If a userbox for WP:In The News did exist it would probably be listed at Wikipedia:Userboxes/Wikipedia/Stats and tools. I don't see it there, so I presume that there isn't one, yet. Of course one can always be created! - Ahunt (talk) 12:08, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Userbox convention[edit]

I propose that we start up an userbox convention. It's an online convention where users can show off their custom userboxes. Not only will people can become more aware of the WikiProject, it'll strengthen the unity of editors, both member or non-member. If you have any question related to this convention, please respond on my talkpage. Secret Saturdays (talk to me)

Put into gallery?[edit]

How and when do new userboxes get put into the gallery? Do we do it ourselves, or do others do it? Mr. Wayne (talk) 18:00, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Just add them yourself into the appropriate page (by subject). If it ends up in the wrong place other editors will hopefully fix it! - Ahunt (talk) 14:41, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

How do I even do it in the first place?[edit]

I am interested in making a userbox that expands and change colour Qwertyfish11 (talk) 01:37, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

Everything you need to know about making userboxes is pretty much at Wikipedia:Userboxes. That said, I don't know if it is possible to make one that expands and changes colour without using javascript or flash! - Ahunt (talk) 01:49, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

User boxes in Wikipedia namespace[edit]

I just came across an inconsistency whilst cleaning up some help categories., Category:Wikipedia documentation contained docs for many Wikipedia:WikiProject Scouting/Userboxes ( and a few random others but not many - I thought they had put them in the wrong place, but upon checking the Wikipedia:Userboxes guideline , it does, indeed mention the wikipedia namespace. But a quick perusal of newly created userboxes shows no others being created, they're mostly user: and a few template:. My question is this - is this the new editing practice and if so should the wikipedia: namespace be removed from the guideline to make things more consistent ? Lee∴V (talkcontribs) 02:07, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

Just for information[edit]

I have moved Wikipedia:Instruments to Wikipedia:Userboxes/Instruments as it seems to be the sensible thing to do. Let me know if there's a problem with that. Of course, this may mean some things will need tidying up at this end, but I don't know what. Thanks! Brilliantine (talk) 04:35, 17 December 2009 (UTC)

Category:Userbox user templates[edit]

Shouldn't this category be merged in standard userbox categories ? Cenarium (talk) 00:52, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

Request a Userbox?[edit]

Can I request that a Userbox be created? If so, I was hoping to have one made for Wikipedia:Userboxes/Location/Africa where there are a few countries missing. I was hoping to request one specifically. Is this possible? Many thanks in advance. Outback the koala (talk) 01:40, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

Sure if you don't want to make up a userbox then other editors can do it for you. I have made a number for other users. You just need to give some information on what it would be about and I'll see what I can do and post it back here. If you like it then it can be posted to Wikipedia:Userboxes/Location/Africa - or wherever is appropriate. - Ahunt (talk) 01:47, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

Can I request a Userbox to be created too? I really want one about the band Big Time Rush, but I have no clue how to create one. Help me? Iluvmarchingband <3 (talk) 18:03, 27 December 2011 (UTC)

Sure I can do that for you. Any ideas on what it should say, or what image to use? The image File:Big Time Rush Band.jpg is available as public domain if you like that one! - Ahunt (talk) 01:43, 28 December 2011 (UTC)

A New Special Project Looking for Userbox[edit]

The A Special Project meant to commemorate the 150th anniversery of the Civil War is starting to organize. One of the things some in the project feel would be very helpful would be a user box for the project. Would someone in this project be willing to help us by designing a user box for the project. I attempted to design a userbox, but I though it was sub-par for the purpose of representing the project. I include it here for the purpose of illustrating what I had in mind.

If anyone is interested in helping us, design a decent userbox, please contact me at either my userpage or our project page. Best Regards, LeonidasSpartan (talk) 07:57, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

The userbox had been created and posted here. Forentitalk 09:13, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

United States Militias[edit]

I recently started the United States Militias working group for the Military History Wikiproject under the United States military history task force. If anyone could help with a userbox for this group, it would be much appreciated. Thanks,Tetobigbro talk 05:10, 6 June 2010 (UTC)

Aircraft Fan Userboxes[edit]

I created a parameter-based box to replace several boxes on the aviation category and replaced all links. I don't know what is supposed to be done with the old ones, if anything, so I'm delegating that to someone else.
P.S. - Now I look like a bot. - Ana Sofia Paixão 11:40, 25 June 2010 (UTC)

OOPS! I Screwed Up...[edit]

I have created several Userboxes and they appear to be in the WRONG FORMAT! Please accept my apologies and I will correct this problem immediately.-- Avazina, an Unreconstructed Southerner 14:52, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

Stats on userboxes[edit]

Are there stats about userboxes use? I.e. a list of all userboxes used more than, example, 10 times and a counter besides it saying how may times this is used? I know how to get a list of pages who transcluded a certain userbox such as this URL for the template User:UBX/male http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:WhatLinksHere/User:UBX/male but how can I get it automatically for all templates? And with the number of pages transcluding it (possibly in the namespace User:)?

Thanks! phauly (talk) 10:12, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

WikiProject Userboxes Userbox[edit]

Hi all..

I thought this was missing from the templates on the project page

Crystal kthememgr.svg This user has created 4 userboxes.

What do you think? Please add to the project page if you guys like it! Skibden (talk) 13:13, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

There is this one already:
Crystal kthememgr.svg This user has created 81 userboxes
- Ahunt (talk) 15:08, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
In that case, it should still be added to the templates on the project page :P Skibden (talk) 15:48, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
Actually there are lots of userboxes about userboxes and these are all gathered together at Wikipedia:Userboxes/Userboxes. I will add yours there as well. - Ahunt (talk) 16:10, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
I didn't see any about a user's willingness to make userboxes upon request so I made two and put them on Wikipedia:Userboxes/Userboxes as well.—  dain- talk   05:40, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
Good idea! - Ahunt (talk) 12:21, 10 January 2013 (UTC)

Userbox for Gex Wiki?[edit]

Please could you help? I'm trying to make a userbox telling that I'm the admin of the wiki but the templates on here don't work and I can't understand the instructions on making a new one. m w (talk) 22:01, 21 October 2010

No problem - I can make that up for you. What do you want it to say and do you have a free image that we could use in it? - Ahunt (talk) 00:25, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

As luck would have it I made a prototype yesterday.

Gex - small pic.JPG This user is the admin of Gex wiki.

m w (talk) 09:06, 22 October 2010

Actually userboxes are normally created on their own page and then transcluded to your user page (and others too if they want to use it). I can show you how to do that if you like. Also there are a few tricks to make the link text show up better on the dark background, that I can show you too. - Ahunt (talk) 13:46, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

Yes please, any help would be much appreciated. m w (talk) 16:14, 24 October 2010 (GMT)

No problem. I have created it as a new page at User:Phthinosuchusisanancestor/Gex, so to put it on any page you now just need to add {{User:Phthinosuchusisanancestor/Gex}} and I have also changed the link text to white so it shows up better. It is in your user space now so feel free to change anything you like. I'll transclude it to your user page as well. - Ahunt (talk) 15:47, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
Incidentally if you don't want your userboxes scattered over your user page there are several ways to organize them. You can have a look at my user page for one of those ways, although certainly not the only one! - Ahunt (talk) 15:51, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, though I tried putting that on my user page on Gex Wiki but all that appeared was "Template: Phthinosuchusisanancestor/Gex" in red writing, how do I fix this? m w (talk) 23:18, 24 October 2010 (UTC)Phthinosuchusisanancestor

Hmmm, since that wiki uses completely different software than the MediaWiki that Wikipedia runs on I am not sure, but I suspect you will definitely have to create the template over there and not just link it from here. - Ahunt (talk) 23:29, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

Category:Userboxes and Template:WP:UBS[edit]

Would there be a benefit to adding categories to Category:Userboxes to be more consistent with Template:WP:UBS? For example, there is Wikipedia:Userboxes/Media/Television and Wikipedia:Userboxes/Media/Television (shows), but there is no Category:Television user templates or Category:Television (shows) user templates. -- Uzma Gamal (talk) 10:50, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

You can add them if you want to. I did a little informal study a month or so ago, using the page hits tool and basically discovered that even the most widely used categories for articles get almost no page hits, meaning people aren't using them very much. As a result I don't spend much time on categories. - Ahunt (talk) 12:12, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
Thanks. -- Uzma Gamal (talk) 09:51, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

2 questions[edit]

Can sombody make an userbox with message: "This user used Dashes script" or sth like that?

Is it okay to add "userboxes" that start with "User:Pelmeen10/abc" to Category:Userboxes? I don't think they should. Thanks. Pelmeen10 (talk) 03:02, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

Sure I can make a box for that if you can let me know a bit more about what a "Dashes script" is, as we don't have an article on it. What would be a good picture, symbol or initial for it? As far as the cat goes, yes any userboxes, even in userspace, can go there. - Ahunt (talk) 12:42, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
By some mistakes if you look at that caegory, some user main pages are there also. I removed some though.
Dashes script is not an article. It's a script which fixes dashes (User:GregU/dashes.js). Haven't thoght about the picture yet. Maybe just this: "- to –". Thanks! Pelmeen10 (talk) 13:22, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
Okay thanks for explaining that! How does this look? Feel free to ask for changes in colour, wording etc!
Code Result
 {{User:Ahunt/Dashes}}
- to – This user employs the Dashes script to fix dashes on Wikipedia.
Transclusions
- Ahunt (talk) 13:35, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
Hehe, thanks. I can figure out the rest. I hope you won't claim copyright for {{User Dashes script}}. Thanks again. Pelmeen10 (talk) 13:37, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
Nope, everything on Wikipedia is freely licenced! Feel free to just go and edit the box if you like and can figure out the coding! I will add it to Wikipedia:Userboxes/Wikipedia/Stats and tools. - Ahunt (talk) 13:55, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
Nice idea, maybe below WikiEd (It's part of that also.)? Pelmeen10 (talk) 13:58, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
It's there at Wikipedia:Userboxes/Wikipedia/Stats_and_tools#Editing_tools. - Ahunt (talk) 14:08, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
Do you know what made me smile when I looked at that page? :) Pelmeen10 (talk) 14:25, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
What? - Ahunt (talk) 14:27, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
{{User:Ahunt/Dashes}} instead of {{User Dashes script}}. Pelmeen10 (talk) 14:30, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
When I make up user boxes I usually do so in my own user space and just leave them there. When I posted that one I didn't realize that you had duplicated it. - Ahunt (talk) 14:56, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
I know that there are some users who don't want to be "unoriginal" and use stuff from other userspace. Pelmeen10 (talk) 15:05, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
I guess a few might not, although many boxes I have made are in wide use - it doesn't bug me either way! - Ahunt (talk) 15:40, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
Basically it doesn't matter to me either but I never make templates in my userspace. Pelmeen10 (talk) 23:59, 25 March 2011 (UTC)

Userbox Star[edit]

Greeting from The Awards Project!

Currently, WP:PUA lists this as your Project's award, but such an award does not appear on your project's page anywhere. I'd just like to confirm that it is, in fact, the Official Award for your Project before I move it to WP:WPPA. Cheers! Achowat (talk) 20:33, 28 December 2011 (UTC)

Religion Userboxes[edit]

Why are there no userboxes for mainstream religions? There are lots for obscure ones like Zoroastrianism or Shamanism, even for Satanism, but not a single user box for Roman Catholicism, Lutheranism, Evangelicals, Anglicans, Mormons, Judaism, or Islam. Or are they just not on the religion page? But if that is the case, why not? I certainly feel like there should be userboxes for the obscure religions and atheism, but it seems to me that a box saying "This user is a Roman Catholic" would have a wider appeal than one saying "This user follows Voodoo". Could someone clarify this for me? DopplerRadioShow (talk) 07:33, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

Do you mean these by any chance? Please see the "religion page" and look at the very top... -- Skysmurf  (Talk) 08:00, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
Ah, thank you very much. That was very helpful. I should have checked that link. I just didn't make the connection between "Abrahamic Religions" and what it actually meant. Stupid mistake on my part. DopplerRadioShow (talk) 08:20, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

Edit count[edit]

Is there a userbox that automatically counts the number of edits you have done? And, more specifically, in the main namespace? --Jonund (talk) 19:39, 15 January 2012 (UTC)

From what I gather from various discussions around, that would require a MediaWiki tool that is not enable on En.Wikipedia. Achowat (talk) 22:44, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
You are right - there isn't, for technical reasons. - Ahunt (talk) 00:11, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

Do we really need this WikiProject?[edit]

Given the huge amounts of work that Wikipedia needs is a WikiProject dedicated to userboxes such a good idea? -- Alan Liefting (talk - contribs) 03:39, 21 March 2012 (UTC)

Sure it is. User boxes help create a sense of community coherence which contributes to people feeling like they belong here and therefore they stay and do the serious work needed on the encyclopedia articles. If working on Wikipedia was all deadly serious work it would be too dull for many people and we would probably lose contributors as a result. - Ahunt (talk) 11:11, 21 March 2012 (UTC)

For some unknown reason it is at User:ISD/Userboxes/Sexuality - Ahunt (talk) 16:55, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
It's listd there per WP:GERMAN. Achowat (talk) 17:17, 18 April 2012 (UTC)

Split subpages[edit]

Hello! I noticed that some of the userbox subpages were growing rather long, so I split Wikipedia:Userboxes/Wikipedia/Stats and tools into Wikipedia:Userboxes/Wikipedia/Personal statistics and Wikipedia:Userboxes/Wikipedia/Research and editing tools and Wikipedia:Userboxes/Wikipedia/Views and affiliations into Wikipedia:Userboxes/Wikipedia/WikiFauna and Wikipedia:Userboxes/Wikipedia/Participation. Can someone possibly add the "float" tag capability that exists in Template:Userbox? Many thanks. (See here: User:StevenJ81/userbsd2, but I accomplished this by subst: and manually changing the float. It would be good not to have to do that.) StevenJ81 (talk) 16:18, 14 March 2013 (UTC)

Waterborne transport[edit]

If there is a gallery of userboxes about waterborne transport? The Wikipedia:Userboxes/Transportation gallery seems to include only land transport. There is a Wikipedia:Userboxes/Aviation gallery that offers a lot of specialist userboxes but I have found no equivalent gallery for water transport, either maritime or inland. For civilian waterborne transport, all I have found so far is {{User:UBX/sailing}}, {{User:UBX/boating}} and the {{Template:User WikiProject Ships}} membership userbox. There are also a few naval userboxes: {{User:Aerobird/Battleship Userbox}}, {{User:LightSpectra/Userboxes/NW}} and {{User:Aerobird/600 Ships Userbox}}.

I am looking for userboxes to express a number of interests: merchant shipping, sailing ships, motor ships, electric boats, narrowboats, boat building, shipbuilding, canals and other inland waterways. Is there an entire gallery that I have missed?

Best wishes, Motacilla (talk) 12:00, 2 April 2013 (UTC)

I don't think we have that, yet, but you could start one using the aviation page as a template! - Ahunt (talk) 13:03, 2 April 2013 (UTC)

Help needed with Media/Books list[edit]

The page Wikipedia:Userboxes/Media/Books has some serious formatting issues in and after the section The Lord of the Rings and related books. At a guess, the problem is in the transcluded boxes, but I haven't been able to isolate the problem. I'm hoping some of the experts here wouldn't mind poking around a bit. TechBear | Talk | Contributions 14:33, 18 April 2013 (UTC)

I checked it over and the page formatting looks okay. I have seen this sort of thing before and what I think has happened is that there is a limit to the number of transclusions that the software will display on a page. The solution is to split the page into two pages. - Ahunt (talk) 00:09, 19 April 2013 (UTC)

Userbox for BMW vehicles?[edit]

I was wondering are there userboxes for BMW vehicles? I now drive one and would like to update my userbox page with that. Thank you in advance. Allen (Morriswa) (talk) 09:53, 3 June 2013 (UTC)

Thank you for your question, they are found at Wikipedia:Userboxes/Cars#BMW. Do let me know if there are no suitable ones there and I can make a better one up for you, if need be! - Ahunt (talk) 12:14, 3 June 2013 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Userboxes/Computing[edit]

Could it be that this page has become overcrowded? At least there's a major display problem in the Hardware section with lots of boxes not being shown through the ubks template. I've tried to search for unpaired top/bottom templates but that doesn't seem to be the case. I guess we need to move some load off this page to another subpage. De728631 (talk) 01:18, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

It looks like the number of allowable transclusions on a page was recently changed and that has caused many of the userbox pages to not display right. Several of us have been splitting these recently to fix the problem - it looks like you have found another page that needs this done. I may get to this later on today. - Ahunt (talk) 13:50, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
Got that Ahunt? If not, I can get it shortly. Technical 13 (talk) 14:05, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

Need graphic-talented person: new User Box ideas[edit]

I'm an editor — not talented or knowledgeable graphically (not creative in that way).

I'd like to suggest a few new user boxes, but don't know who to suggest them to. I'd like to pass my ideas on to someone who enjoys making user boxes. My ideas are for ones about: 1) Food Gardener ; 2) Handyman (or Handyperson) ; Community Volunteer (with reference to the IRL community they live in). If any of these exist, I have not located them. But I think they'd be good. Thanks.Joel Russ (talk) 19:04, 16 August 2013 (UTC)

Userboxes are misaligned[edit]

When I try to put in userboxes, for some reason, they're different sizes. Can anybody please help me? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Philroc (talkcontribs) 15:00, 18 August 2013 (UTC)

I think that is because the boxes you selected are different heights! You might try displaying them in a template as I have done on my user page, that way differing heights don't matter as they are columned vertically. Let me know if you want help trying that out! - Ahunt (talk) 15:10, 18 August 2013 (UTC)

New US National Park Userboxes[edit]

Hi folks! I am making some userboxes for having visited US National Parks, and wanted to know what page within the Gallery I should place them. Is there a section already that I haven't found, or should I make a new section on an existing page? The ones I have done are near the bottom of User:Oldbeeg/userboxes. (I am planning to make more.) Thanks, Old Beeg ··warble·· 11:24, 18 June 2014 (UTC)

That is a good question! I would suggest either adding them as a new section on Wikipedia:Userboxes/Interests N to S or starting a new page like Wikipedia:Userboxes/Parks. - Ahunt (talk) 16:23, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
There will be 50-60 of these when I'm done. I think a new page is a good idea. What to name it? How to set it up? Should it be for worldwide national parks, or include the equivalent of the US's state parks too? Best, Old Beeg ··warble·· 21:33, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
Yeah if you are going to have that many then I think a new page would be best. I would personally go with all parks and the red-link above, to give a new home for all parks-related boxes, but your call. - Ahunt (talk) 00:55, 19 June 2014 (UTC)

I will start a Wikipedia:Userboxes/Parks page with selected area sections set up. Best, Old Beeg ··warble·· 16:03, 19 June 2014 (UTC)

That sounds good. I'll watch out for it and give it a look over when you are done! You can use an existing page as a template if you like, too. - Ahunt (talk) 16:05, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
It is ready and live. Should I look for userboxes to move to it, or will that happen over time? Best, Old Beeg ··warble·· 16:53, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
By the way, I added "Parks" under "Interests" in the WP:UBS template. Old Beeg ··warble·· 16:56, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
I also added it to Wikipedia:Userboxes/Gallery! Some people may move existing user boxes or not, but it would probably be better if you go and look for any and move them yourself. - Ahunt (talk) 17:19, 19 June 2014 (UTC)

I'll do that. Thanks, Ahunt, for all your guidance and help! Best, Old Beeg ··warble·· 17:32, 19 June 2014 (UTC)

Glad that I could be of assistance! - Ahunt (talk) 17:33, 19 June 2014 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Userboxes/Food[edit]

This page needs help. If you click edit for the whole page, you get: "Warning: Template include size is too large. Some templates will not be included." If I was sure what to do, I'd try. I see there are some sections apparently duplicated and lots of sections at the bottom don't display the userboxes, only the template name. I will divide the page if that's what's needed, just need some direction. Best, Old Beeg ··warble·· 12:20, 29 June 2014 (UTC)

Yeah, same old problem! There are too many userboxes on the page. The software limits the number of transclusions and so the only solution is to split some content off into a new page. - Ahunt (talk) 16:04, 29 June 2014 (UTC)
What is the relationship between User:UBX/Userboxes/Food, Wikipedia:Userboxes/Food and Wikipedia:Userboxes/Food/Sandbox? There appears to be a lot of overlap among them. Best, Old Beeg ··warble·· 22:33, 29 June 2014 (UTC)
  • Same old same... I'll see if I can trim the page out again tomorrow night like I did a couple times before. Maybe it's time to consider breaking the whole page into "libraries" & having a link on the main ubx page to all the groups at the top of the page and a section below for a random featured group to give new people am idea and often have "new" stuff to see to encourage creativity? Another idea is to convert the userbox template into a module. Either way, I'll start trimming, breaking out and merging sections tomorrow night to fix the error... — {{U|Technical 13}} (etc) 22:46, 29 June 2014 (UTC)
I was thinking that a new subpage called /Food/Eating would work with the Eating, Restaurant, and International Cuisine sections being moved to it from the /Food page. I am, however, not familiar with the whys-and-wherefores of the pages I listed above and was wondering about them so I would know how to proceed and not stomp on work already done. Best, Old Beeg ··warble·· 23:16, 29 June 2014 (UTC)

Set up Wikipedia:Userboxes/Food/Eating. Still trying to figure how to list it in Category:WikiProject Userboxes template. Best, Old Beeg ··warble·· 13:12, 11 July 2014 (UTC)

OK, finally have the WikiProject Userboxes template worked out. Best, Old Beeg ··warble·· 14:26, 11 July 2014 (UTC)
Looks fine to me! - Ahunt (talk) 12:07, 12 July 2014 (UTC)

Deleting a user box you created[edit]

I am wondering how one would get a user box that they created deleted. What are the steps and procedures? --Devin Murphy (talk) 03:56, 16 July 2014 (UTC)

You just need to tag it as per WP:G7 and it will be deleted. If you do that please make sure that any transclusions to it are also removed. - Ahunt (talk) 10:53, 16 July 2014 (UTC)
Thanks Ahunt. --Devin Murphy (talk) 12:03, 26 July 2014 (UTC)
