[edit] Miami Dolphins
Billingsley was eligible for the 2007 NFL Draft but was undrafted. He remained unsigned for nearly a year until being added as a free agent by the Miami Dolphins on April 14, 2008. He was assigned No. 27. Billingsley was waived by the team during final cuts on August 30, but was re-signed to the team's practice squad a day later.
The Dolphins released Billingsley from the practice squad on September 25 to make room for recently waived running back Jalen Parmele. Billingsley was re-signed to the practice squad on October 6 after the team released defensive tackle Anthony Toribio. Billingsley was released again three days later on October 9, only to be re-signed on October 14. The team released Billingsley from the practice squad yet again on November 21.
After finishing the 2008 season on the practice squad, Billingsley was re-signed to a future contract on January 5, 2009. Though it was initially reported Billingsley had been waived during final cuts on September 4,[1] the team opted to keep him under contract after an injury to cornerback Vontae Davis.[2]
The Dolphins eventually waived him on September 5 and re-signed him to the practice squad, where he remained the entire season.

The New York Jets signed Billingsley to the team's practice squad on October 27, 2010.[3] Billingsley was released from the team's practice squad on November 19, 2010.[4]
