Williamstown High School accommodates grades 7-12 and has an enrollment of about 630 students.

WESTEST results for the school are consistently well above state averages for 2005, for all subjects, grades, and subgroups except students with disabilities. The average number of students per teacher is 16.

WHS is a Single A school. It has held the LKC All Sports Award for more than 20 years (2003-2004 season excepted). Home of the 2008, West Virginia, Single A Football State Champions, and the 2008 Sectional Soccer Champions.
