Win 94.6 FM was a FM radio channel in Mumbai, India playing Hindi songs. It broadcast started on 30 April 2001 at 94.6 MHz. It was the Most Popular Radio Station in Mumbai when It was Onair. The Station played variety of Music, including the Old Songs and new songs. Limited was the Advertising with the Best Bunch of Radio Jockeys. It was Indeed the "No.1 Radio Station In Mumbai". Their punchline was "Hit pe hit pe hit".

WIN 94.6, a private 24-hour FM station, launched its services in Mumbai on April 30, 2001.The letters WIN incidentally stand for the corresponding numbers 946 on the dial pad of the mobile phone. The station was promoted by Millennium Broadcast.
Radio stations have to enter into a mandatory agreement with Phonographic Performances Limited (PPL), which allows them to use the content owned by the music companies. Millennium had signed an agreement with PPL to use content at Rs 400 per hour.
WIN also had licenses to start FM stations in Chennai and Delhi. The company intended to launch stations in both these metros on August 29, 2001.
For its Mumbai FM station, WIN had the basic infrastructure that includes a studio and production facilities. The transmission tower for the station is located in central Mumbai.[1]

[edit] Closure of a Radio Station
On 27 May 2004 at 1:00pm the Radio Station went off air. The station has since been closed down and no longer broadcasts. The WIN 94.6 has surrendered its license to protest against high enforcement of taxes from a radio channel.
