Wojponie [vɔi̯ˈpɔɲe] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szypliszki, within Suwałki County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Lithuania.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north-east of Szypliszki, 28 km (17 mi) north-east of Suwałki, and 132 km (82 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok.
