Wolverine World Wide (NYSE: WWW) is a footwear manufacturer. They have their own brand, Wolverine Boots and Shoes, and also make footwear for other companies, such as Caterpillar and Harley-Davidson. Wolverine also makes shoes and boots for the military. The company is based in Rockford, Michigan, a town in north suburban Grand Rapids.

G.A. Krause founded the company in 1883. It originally was a utility company. However, in 1903, Krause built a shoe factory in Michigan. Today the company is run by Blake Krueger and has an online accounting service. Also note that not all Wolverine shoes are made in the USA.
