Woodworth, Wisconsin
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Woodworth is a small residential community in southeastern Kenosha County, Wisconsin, United States, and is located on Kenosha County Highway MB at 82nd Street in the village of Bristol.[1] The Kenosha and Rockford Railroad (the "KD Line") brought prosperity and activity to Woodworth, and a U.S. post office (ZIP Code 53194) is located there. In the 1920s (maybe earlier), a large serum laboratory was built in Woodworth that provided wartime vaccines for troops and civilians. Woodworth's rural appearance has been featured in at least one on-location television commercial and at least one movie ("The Last Great Ride" with Ernest Borgnine and Eileen Brennan).
