The 1936 World Snooker Championship snooker tournament was held at the Thurston's Hall, London, England.[1]
Joe Davis won his tenth World title, by defeating Horace Lindrum 34–27 in the final. The highest break of the tournament was 101 made by Lindrum in his semi-final match against Stanley Newman.[2][3]
