Wyoming Park High School (also referred to as 'The Park') is a comprehensive secondary public high school in the Wyoming Public Schools district in Wyoming, Michigan. It is one of two high schools in the Wyoming Public Schools district, with just over 824 students, and is known for providing a comprehensive curriculum, creating a very strong student body and a heavily diverse community of volunteers and support staff.

Wyoming Park High School participates in the Advanced Placement Program (AP), a College Board-approved program that offers college-level courses in the high school environment. During the 2006–2007 school year saw a significant increase in scores from exiting seniors who have taken the Advanced Placement exams.[citation needed] The class of 2007 participants in the Advanced Placement program had the second highest Advanced Placement exit exam scores in Kent County, Wyoming Park's residing county, which includes all of Greater Grand Rapids.[citation needed]
Students who have a minimum of a 3.5 grade point average (GPA) are invited to participate in the school's National Honor Society, or NHS. Members who are a part of the National Honor Society participate in volunteer activities, such as building homes for Habitat for Humanity and running the Michigan Community Blood Center's Biannual School Blood Drive.

Wyoming Park competes within the Ottawa-Kent Conference GREEN Division The school has won numerous championships, ranging from track, football, and basketball.
In the 2005–2006 school year, the varsity basketball team shared the O.K. Blue title championship with Cedar Springs High School.
Most recently, the boys varsity basketball team won the outright title of champion in the O.K. Blue conference in the 2007–2008 and the O.K. Green 2008-2009 Conference Champions .
[edit] Girls Basketball Program
The 2006–2007 school year saw a major advancement in Wyoming Park's girls basketball program (the "Lady Vikings"). The team lead the team to an undefeated rein in the O.K. Blue conference.[1] Although they have remained undefeated in their conference, the girls basketball team lost in the first stage in the state district championships.[citation needed]

The 2010 football season was a step in the right direction for the Vikings. They finished 5th in the OK Green conference with a record of 3-6. They ended the season big with 2 great wins against Hamilton and Holland Christian. With many of the 2010 starters being juniors the Vikings look like they can be a contender for the playoffs in 2011.
