Xavier High School is a Roman Catholic High School in Appleton, Wisconsin in the Diocese of Green Bay. It was opened in 1959 by the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools (Christian Brothers). The school was named in honor of St. Francis Xavier.

Every member of the Xavier High School class of 2005 took the ACT college entrance exam, with an average composite score of 24.2. This is a tie for the second highest average in Xavier history.[citation needed] This compares with the state average of 22.2 and the national average of 20.9.

In 2009 the Xavier Mock Trial team took first at the state level competition.

In 2005, Xavier was the conference champion in football, with a conference record of 7-0 and 9-2 overall. Both men's and women's basketball moved on to sectionals in basketball. The boys tied Little Chute for the Valley 8 Conference title, with a conference record of 12-2, and 19-5 overall. The girls' cross-country team went to the state finals.

The 2006 girls' volleyball team finished second in the state in their division.[1][dead link] The boys' soccer team competed in their fourth consecutive state competition, winning the 2006 Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Division 2 title. The title was Xavier's third in four years (2003, 2004, 2006).[2][dead link]
