YRT2 Arena was to be a future arena in Conway, South Carolina. It was to serve Coastal Carolina University in sports like basketball, and volleyball. The arena would have been owned by CCU. It would have been home to the future ECHL franchise, the Myrtle Beach Thunderboltz. It was scheduled to open in late 2008, but with the contract voided construction never began. The arena's naming right went to Your Residential Technology Team, which is shortened to YRT2.
With the Arena plan scrapped, Coastal Carolina University secured bond money from the State of South Carolina to construct a Recreation and Wellness Center at the site of where the arena was planned to be.
