Yalkhoroy (Russian: Ялхорой) is a village in the Chechen Republic, Russia. The Yalkhoroy (Yalxoroj) teip (clan) dominates this village which is its namesake. The first president of the Chechen Republic, Dzhokhar Dudaev (1944–1996) was born here.
