From Nothin' to Somethin' is Fabolous' fourth studio album released on June 12, 2007.
It debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, selling 159,000 copies in its first week[11] and 500,000 worldwide. The album has been certified Gold by the RIAA[12] for sales of 542,000.[13]
Def Jam had pushed back the release date five times, starting with December 1 to February 27, then to March 23, then to April 17, next to May 18, and to its final release date on June 12.
XXL ranked From Nothin' to Somethin' the eighth most anticipated album of 2007.[citation needed]
Despite a three-year gap since his album, Real Talk, Fabolous had appeared on sporadic projects, including recordings by DJ Clue, Christina Milian, and Syleena Johnson in his absence.
