Armenian State University of Economics

Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE) is a high-education institute, located in Yerevan, Armenia. It was founded on August 6, 1975, on the basis of economical faculties of Yerevan State University. Its 5 faculties contain 29 departments. The teaching staff includes 41 professors, 130 docents (associate professors), and 40 assistant lecturers. The university has over 5000 undergraduates. Instruction is in Armenian. The academic year is from September 1 through June 30.

ASUE is in co-operation with some international universities included "Paris-12" (France), University of Zaragoza (Spain), University of Florida (U.S.), Aomorea University (Japan) and London Economical College. There is a filial of ASUE in Gyumri town.

ASUE has a significant impact on training of highly qualified economists and on conducting research concerning the solution to the contemporary problems of economics of Armenia.
