Yokoze (横瀬町 Yokoze-machi) is a town located in Chichibu District, Saitama, Japan.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 9,739 and a density of 197.35 persons per km². The total area is 49.35 km². The town has three public schools; Yokoze Junior High School, Yokoze Elementary School and Ashigakubo Elementary School (the latter is slated to close at the end of March, 2009 - student numbers in the past several years have been hovering at, or just below, 30 for all students, grades one to six.
The largest single employer is Mitsubishi Materials.
Served by the Seibu Railway with direct service to Ikebukuro, in central Tokyo.
