"You're the World to Me" is the first single taken from David Gray's Greatest Hits album. The single was produced by legendary producer Chris Thomas[1] and released on 5 November 2007. In an interview, Gray described the song as "joyous," and of his new Greatest Hits album: "a bag of happy shit."[2]

The single peaked at #53 on the UK Singles Chart, charting for only 3 weeks,[3] making it Gray's second consecutive single not to chart in the top 40.
