Yuzawa (湯沢市 Yuzawa-shi) is a city located in Akita, Japan. In 2011 the city had an estimated population of 50,902. The total area was 790.72 km².

The city was founded on March 31, 1954.
On March 22, 2005, the former towns of Minase, Inakawa, and Ogachi, all in Ogachi District, merged into the city.
