Zeme is a village and comune in the Province of Pavia, in the Lombardy region of northwest Italy.

In the Middle Ages Zeme was described as Cemide or Zemide. Zeme belonged to the Bishop of Pavia perhaps as early as the tenth century and later to the priory of the Holy Cross of Mortara, half in 1311 but was confirmed to the Count Palatine of Lomello. It is also named in imperial diplomas (1191, 1220) that assign to the Lomellina Pavia (but not the oldest in 1164). Visconti period came to power in Filippino, son of Facino Dog, who in 1524 sold it to Captain Angelo della Pergola (then lord also of Sartirana), in 1518 the great-grandson of Francesco Pergola Zeme sold to San Cassiano, but in 1532, consists the diocese of Vigevano, County Zeme was assigned to the chapter and the bishopric of that city, the feudal domain of Mensa ceased only with the abolition of feudalism[when?]. In 1818 are finally united with the deleted Zeme March Communication[clarification needed] and St. Alexander[disambiguation needed
], consisting of the same name farms.[1]
