Zhdanov (Armenian: Ժդանով, also Romanized as Jdanov; formerly, Imeni Zhdanova and Imeni Beriya, and until 1953 Sovkhoz #2) is a town in the Armavir Province of Armenia. The town was originally a sovkhoz (collective farm) and renamed in honor of Lavrentiy Beria and later for Andrei Zhdanov.
