Chen is best known in mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong for her wuxia novel Duoqing Langzi Chiqing Xia (Chinese: 多情浪子痴情侠; pinyin: Duō qíng làng zǐ chī qíng xiá), which won the Wuxia Novel Competition 2006 (2006 武侠小说大赛) under the pen name Zheng Feng[2](simplified Chinese: 郑丰; traditional Chinese: 鄭丰; pinyin: Zhèng Fēng), which is taken from her husband's surname, Zheng, and the upper-left corner part in the second Chinese character of her first name. This debut novel was published as 天觀雙俠 in Taiwan, which was its original name.[6]
