Zhenhai (simplified Chinese: 镇海区traditional Chinese: 鎮海區pinyin: Zhènhǎi QūWade-Giles: Chen-Hai) is a district of Ningbo prefecture-level city, Zhejiang. Located at the mouth of the Yongjiang River 12 miles north-east of Ningbo proper, Zhenhai lies at the foot of a hill on a tongue of land. It is partly protected from the sea to the north by a dike about 3 miles long, composed entirely of large blocks of granite.

Zhenhai has a population of 200,000. Its jurisdiction encompasses towns, townships and street committees.

The Zhenhai Coastal Battery is the site of the Chinese naval victory in the Battle of Zhenhai in the Sino-French War.
