Livingly Media, formerly known as Zimbio, Inc., is a San Carlos, California, USA-based digital media company that publishes three lifestyle sites for desktop and mobile audiences. All sites include articles, photography and video, and reach a combined audience of over 20 million monthly readers.[1] Zimbio covers entertainment news; StyleBistro covers fashion, beauty and style; and Lonny covers home design. Each site’s audience is measured by comScore and Quantcast.

Tony Mamone and Danny Khatib founded the company in 2006 as Zimbio, Inc. The management team consists of Tony Mamone as CEO, Danny Khatib as COO, John Newlin as Editor-in-Chief, Nicole Amico as VP of Sales, and Bruce Martin as Chief Technology Officer. The company, which is venture-backed by Menlo Ventures and Draper Richards, changed its name to Livingly Media in August 2012.[2]


In May 2006, the company launched its first website, which focused on entertainment news including movies, music, TV and celebrities.

In July 2010, the company launched to focus on fashion and beauty - including what celebrities are wearing, trends and products.

In 2012, the company purchased Lonny Magazine. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.[3] It was redesigned and launched as in November 2012. Irene Edwards joined as Executive Editor in March 2013.[4]

Other Platforms[edit]

In April 2011, Livingly released an iPad application titled Celebrity Pictures, which allows users to access a large library of celebrity photos.[5] In October 2012, Livingly released an iPad application for Lonny in the iTunes Newsstand.[6]

All of Livingly’s websites have mobile versions. As of August 2013, Livingly had over 8.7 million monthly mobile readers, according to Quantcast.[7]
