Zinc Y! is a Yahoo! Messenger chatroom client which runs in a computer terminal window. Zinc originally started out as a fork of Curphoo 0.3.7, though it has been completely rewritten since then.
Zinc is written in Python and uses the curses library. It runs on Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, Mac OS X, and Solaris. Released under GNU General Public License, Zinc Y! is free software.
