Zone is a brand name used by Ultimate Products Ltd. for family video game consoles. All of the games are built-in (Zone 60 features 60 built-in games, Fusion Portable Arcade features 30 built-in games, etc.). Superficially most of the Zone line bears a resemblance to the Nintendo Wii, but all Zone consoles are based on 16 or 32-bit architecture; the company claims they are not intended to compete with contemporary seventh generation systems and they are sold at a much lower price. The games on the Zone 40 are made Fuzhou Waixing Computer Science & Technology Co. Ltd. (福州外星电脑科技有限公司 fú zhōu wài xīng diàn nǎo kē jì yǒu xiàn gōng sī, literally Fuzhou Alien Computer Technology Co., Ltd.), the games on the Zone 60 are made by JungleTac, and are very similar to the games on the Vii.

A similar version of the console was released by Sega, called the Sega Zone.

Zone: 3D[edit]

Zone 3D is a new, smaller version of the previous Zone consoles. Zone 3D features 100 games (with graphics that appear clearer than in other Zones). The main perk of Zone 3D is its capability to appear 3-Dimensional, hence the name. Zone 3D includes 3D glasses to enhance the 3D effect.

Wireless Air 60[edit]

Wireless Air 60 is another new version of the Zone consoles that marks extreme similarities to Xbox Kinect. Wireless Air 60 features a small, flat game console with a small camera near its edge. This camera senses player movement, allowing them to control the game with their body instead of a controller (exactly like in Xbox Kinect, or the earlier PlayStation 2 EyeToy).
