Amorebieta-Etxano also known as Zornotza (Spanish, Amorebieta-Echano) is a town and municipality located in Biscay in the Basque Country, an Autonomous Community in northern Spain. Athletic Bilbao defenders Xabier Etxeita and Jon Aurtenetxe were born in Zornotza, although ironically another ex-Athletic defender, Amorebieta, was not. Another prominent sportsperson native to the town is Beñat Intxausti, a professional cyclist.

Its population is about 19,000. The mayor is David Latxaga Ugartemendia, from PNV politicy. Amorebieta has some interesting sites to visit, such as a very extended green-ground and field. It celebrates the International Cross and the "Spring" cycling classic race.
