케임브리지 (매사추세츠주)

케임브리지(Cambridge)는 미국 미들섹스군에 속하는 도시이다. 보스턴과 찰스강 하나를 사이에 두고 붙어 있는 보스턴의 위성도시이며, 세계적으로 유명한 하버드 대학교와 매사추세츠 공과대학교가 위치한 대학도시이기도 하다. 영국 케임브리지 대학교를 기념하는 의미에서 케임브리지라고 이름이 지어졌다. 생활비는 미국에서 가장 비싼 편에 속한다. 출판·인쇄업을 비롯한 공업이 왕성하다. 인구 10만 9,694명(2014).[1]
