Note:
The last deployment of Liechtenstein military units was during the Austro-Prussian War 1866 on Austrian side. The deployment was a absolute catastrophe for Liechtenstein; the whole Liechtenstein army returned from this war with 81 people. The Princely government decided thereupon to dissolve the Liechtenstein military. This is also still today the state, Liechtenstein has only armed police units and border troups, but no military.
