English: The April 3-4, 1974, "Super Outbreak" is the second-largest outbreak of tornadoes in the U.S. on record, and holds the record for the most F5 tornadoes on a single day. A reported 148 tornadoes developed during a 24-hr period, touching down in 13 states, killing around 335 people and causing approximately $600 million in damage.
