Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to 2026 FIFA World Cup. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 09:20, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about July 2022 North American heat wave

Hello, Cabin134, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Bruxton, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, July 2022 North American heat wave, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/July 2022 North American heat wave.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Bruxton}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

(Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Information icon Hello, I'm Elijahandskip. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to 2022 Eastern Kentucky floods have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. The AfD (Articles for Deletion) discussion which you began for the article says in the directions, "Feel free to improve the article, but do not remove this notice before the discussion is closed and do not blank the page. For more information, read the guide to deletion." Redirecting the page amid an ongoing discussion is blanking a page, so please do not do that. Please wait until the AfD discussion concludes for results. Elijahandskip (talk) 04:27, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

On a side note, I can tell you are frustrated that the article is not just being merged/deleted right away. I recommend you read WP:RAPID, which talks about other options besides deleting an article, especially through a 7-day AfD process, which can include proposing a merge or PROD, draftifying the article (moving into draftspace) or just improving the article. Unfortunatly, the AfD process takes 7 days unless it is a very clear consensus to close early, which involves the WP:SNOW policy. Hope that helps. Elijahandskip (talk) 04:32, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 2022 Eastern Kentucky floods. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Please refer to the side note message above. Redirecting/blanking the page prior to the AfD conclusion is not allowed. Elijahandskip (talk) 15:42, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing from certain pages (2022 Eastern Kentucky floods) for a period of 24 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Valereee (talk) 21:53, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Question for you

In multiple edits, you keep saying the Missouri floods and the Kentucky floods are the same flood event. Can you provide a source for that comment, because the floods appear visually to be days apart, so a source saying that would go a long way. I asked you a few times through various discussion, and one was not provided, so I am hoping you can provide one here. Elijahandskip (talk) 22:49, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

yes i have a source😊, I saw it yeastrday and I knew something must have been fishy about the article 2022 Eastern Kentucky floods. [1] also it was also effected in the Same flood:[2]. Cabin134 (talk) 00:41, 30 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Statistics of the 2022 monkeypox outbreak, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. this is a article for coding not for reading. Cabin134 (talk) 03:57, 30 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

2022 monkeypox outbreak task force invitation

Hello! I know you have an interest in the ongoing 2022 monkeypox outbreak, so I wanted to invite you to the Monkeypox Outbreak Task Force, which I started from the WikiProject of current events. A task force is similar to a WikiProject, with the exception that a larger WikiProject (in this case, the Current Events WikiProject) "host" the task force. The Monkeypox Outbreak Task Force’s goal is to improve any and all articles relating to the new outbreak. I hope you consider joining! Elijahandskip (talk) 21:35, 30 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

sounds intreasting, Thanks for telling me about this. Cabin134 (talk) 21:36, 30 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

August 2022

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to July 2022 United States floods, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Name should stay as it for now. United States Man (talk) 02:09, 1 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Draft:Super Bowl LXI. Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use your sandbox. Thank you. ‡ El cid, el campeador talk 14:38, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ITN recognition for July 2022 United States floods

On 1 August 2022, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article July 2022 United States floods, which you created. 2022 monkeypox outbreak in Florida

Hello. Just a heads up, a merge proposal ended to merge 2022 monkeypox outbreak in Florida into 2022 monkeypox outbreak in the United States only on the ground of not enough content for a stand-alone article. Because of that, I went ahead and completed the merge, but also copied the content into Draft:2022 monkeypox outbreak in Florida. You are welcome to expand the draft until it is ready for mainspace, especially since no one questioned the notability of the article. It truly just did not have enough content for a stand-alone article at the time of the merge proposal. Elijahandskip (talk) 22:20, 8 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Cabin134, I know you may not agree with the discussion, but it was a community consensus. Please honor the community consensus and not revert the merge. Elijahandskip (talk) 03:35, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

hey I think that must have been a mistake I need to uptdate 2022 monkeypox outbreak daily. and create new articles including 2034 Winter Olympics. plus i have had no warnings since i have been blocked. Cabin134 (talk) 15:20, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-admin comment) Cabin134, you should look at this administrator noticeboard discussion to understand why you were blocked. If you do believe it was a mistake, you may appeal the block via the directions linked above. Elijahandskip (talk) 15:29, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
listen the Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2022 Eastern Kentucky floods sitaution is done now. Also the merging 2022 monkeypox outbreak in Florida to 2022 monkeypox outbreak in the United States it is just because I think the 2022 monkeypox outbreak in Florida is a notable topic so maybe it could just use a article, but @Elijahandskip said Apparently, it was a copy/paste (not a move) from Draft:2022 monkeypox outbreak in Florida, where 2601:186:4500:83A0:A0B5:F3F5:9FD1:5158, Zeeshan Y Tariq, 92.113.168.56, EN-Jungwon, and AZwildfire had edited it in draftspace. It probably is not notable enough for its own article and should probably be moved back to draftspace until more content can be added. An administrator needs to do something here to help merge some edit histories together since other editors have edited this content in mainspace and 9 days later you stared redercting to 2022 monkeypox outbreak in the United States. I blocked you for the reasons laid out at the above-linked AN thread. Specifically, after returning from a block for edit warring (a type of disruptive editing), you immediately began engaging in a series of disruptive actions, including: splitting an article that had been merged, repeatedly screwing around with an AfD that was properly closed, attempting to undo a draftification of a page clearly unsuited for mainspace at this time, and adding outright falsehoods to an article. Either these were intentional, and you need to commit to not repeating them, or you truly did not realize the impact of your actions; based on your comments here I'm inclined towards the latter, which makes me seriously question whether you possess the competence to be editing here.
