Here is the deal. I was just noticed that Farenhost was banned for being Voice of Brittain, but he is NOT! Check his ip against Voice of Brittain in this process and you will see that they do not match in any way. Unblock Farenhost. If I have the same ip as VoB then by all means, block me, but for the love of god, unblock Farenhost who has nothing to do with this. Happy Camper II 05:36, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

Happy Camper doesn't appear to be VoB (which doesn't mean Farenhorst isn't), but he is a reincarnation of the banned user User:Drogheda/User:Kartikabalaji/User:00a00a0aa and whoever else that is. IP hardblocked. Dmcdevit·t 23:06, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Revision as of 23:06, 2 September 2007

 • Code letter: B

Possible sock puppet for User:Farenhorst, a confirmed sock puppet for the indefinitely banned User:Voice of Britain. Became active on the article child sexual abuse, making extremly similar edits and statements on the talk page. Around the time Farenhorst was exposed as a sock puppet here, Happy_Camper_II started defending the user's edits here, bringing up personal details that were not shown on Farenhorst's user page.

Here is the closed case for user:Voice of Britain.

Thank you. --YellowTapedR 07:42, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk note:; please provide diffs for the supposed similar edits, and a link to the closed ArbCom case in which Voice of Britain (talk · contribs) was banned. –sebi 07:50, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Done. --YellowTapedR 08:12, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk note: The "closed case" is an RFC, however, I looked at VoB's block log, the most recent block was: 12:34, May 30, 2007 David Gerard (Talk | contribs) blocked "Voice of Britain (Talk | contribs)" (account creation blocked) with an expiry time of indefinite ‎ (refer to arbcom for queries). VoB is definitely a banned user. WjBscribe 22:18, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
