The Dunsfold Hawker Siddeley HS-125 accident was a test flight of a Hawker Siddeley HS-125 that overan the runway at Dunsfold Aerodrome on 20 November 1975. The accident killed six people after the aircraft crashed into a car and injured one pilot.

Accident
At Dunsfold Aerodrome the Hawker Siddeley HS-125 was taking off from runway 07 with two crew and seven passengers on board on a test flight. As the aircraft was half way down the runway and just airborne both engines started to surge. The pilots touched down back on runway 07. The aircraft overran the runway and the 125 kept on going out of the airport perimeter. The aircraft hit a Ford Cortina on the A281 motorway and the car flipped onto it's roof and the aircraft kept going until it stopped in a field. After all nine passengers and crew had evacuated, the aircraft was damaged beyond repair in the resulting fire. The accident killed all six people inside the car and injured one crew member on the aircraft.

Cause
The Air Accidents Investigation Branch found that a flock of birds hit both engines as the aircraft became airborne causing loss of power.
