Aaron Gwyn is an American short story author and novelist.[1] He received his PhD in English from the University of Denver and is an associate professor of English at University of North Carolina - Charlotte where he teaches fiction writing and American literature.[2] He is the author of the short story collection, Dog on the Cross (Algonquin Books, 2004) and of the novel, The World Beneath (W.W. Norton, 2009). Dog on the Cross was a finalist for the 2005 New York Public Library Young Lions Fiction Award.[2]
