Power Rangers Megaforce is the upcoming twentieth season of the American children's television series Power Rangers. The show will be produced by SCG Power Rangers and begin airing on Nickelodeon in early 2013. The show will be part of the Power Rangers 20th anniversary.[10][11][12][13][14][15][9] Promotional posters depict the series being an adaptation of Tensou Sentai Goseiger.[8] Kidscreen reported that Megaforce will feature "the return of many historic Rangers."[16]

Plot

When the alien Warstar attack Earth, the supernatural guardian Gosei and his faithful robot assistant Tensou recruit five teenagers with attitude to combat the invading forces. Equipped with powers that grant them mastery over martial arts and other forms of combat, the teenagers transform into the latest champions of good: The Power Rangers Megaforce.[17]
