My name is Sarah Stierch.
I'm the US OpenGLAM Coordinator for the Open Knowledge Foundation. I am also the Wikipedian in Residence at the World Digital Library. I also am the Program Evaluation Community Coordinator for the Wikimedia Foundation. I have also served as Wikipedian in Residence at the Smithsonian Institution Archives and Archives of American Art.
I am deeply committed to the concept of open culture and free knowledge. I live in Oakland. I have my Masters of Arts in museum studies from George Washington University and my bachelor's in Native American Studies. My background is in curatorial practice focusing on fine art and history. I used to be a make-up artist and a DJ, too!
