This is a list of all mobile phone carriers in the Asia Pacific Region and their respective number of subscribers.

Afghanistan

As of September 2018, the penetration rate in Afghanistan was estimated at 86%: 31.28[1] millions subscribers over a population estimate of 36.37 million. It is estimated that 56% of the subscribers own 2 SIM cards or more and 12% of the subscribers own 4 SIM cards.

As of Mar 2019, total four mobile operators are truly operational. Airtel Bangladesh merged with Robi[12] and Pacific Bangladesh Telecom Limited (ownership: SingTel (44.54%), Pacific Motors (37.95%) and Far East Telecom (17.51%)), which used 'Citycell' and 'Zoom Ultra' brands, is no longer operating commercially. On 19 February 2018 Government has given FDD-LTE license to above three telecom operators. Besides, there are another two LTE licensed operators: Banglalion, Qubee and OLLO;[13] which do not have permission for voice services. AMTOB is a national trade organization representing all mobile telecom operators in Bangladesh.

Bhutan

As of June 2016, the penetration rate in Bhutan was 690,000 subscribers in total, or over 90% penetration rate.[14]

1. CSL and New World Mobility merged in April 2006 and became CSL New World Mobility Group. The two networks operated separately until 2010 when the network of New World Mobility was merged into the network of CSL.
