Batla House is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action thriller film[2][3][4] directed by Nikkhil Advani. Inspired by the Operation Batla House that took place in 2008, the film stars John Abraham in the lead role of a police officer named Sanjeev Kumar Yadav.[5]
The film is scheduled to be theatrically released in India on 16 August 2019.[6][7]

Production
In May 2018 Nikkhil Advani announced the film with John Abraham, to be based on Operation Batla House of 2008. The film was to be shot in Delhi, Lucknow, Mussoorie, Mumbai, Jaipur and Nepal starting in September of 2018 in span of 50 days.[8][9] Ravi Kishan[10] and Nora Fatehi joined the cast of Batla House in November of 2018.[11] The film was wrapped in the second week of February in 2019.[12]
Marketing and release
The makers of Batla House released the trailer of the film on 10 July 2019[13]. The trailer was launched at an event that was organised in Mumbai with the presence of the star cast of the film, John Abraham and Mrunal Thakur along with Nora Fatehi and the director of the film, Nikkhil Advani[14].

The songs are composed by Rochak Kohli, Tanishk Bagchi, Ankit Tiwari and Stereo Nation where lyrics written by Kumaar, Tanishk Bagchi, Dev Kohli, Gautam Sharma, Gurpreet Saini, Prince Dubey and Stereo Nation. The first song "O Saki Saki" is a remake of the song Saaki Saaki from the film Musafir.[15][16] The song "O Saki Saki" was launched on 15 July 2019[17].
