DeltaCad is a computer-aided design (CAD) software package for 2D design and drafting. It is available for Microsoft Windows XP, Vista or 7 (32 or 64 bit). It is aimed at the beginner's and amateur's market, profiling itself as "The World's Easiest CAD Program". Nevertheless it achieves the same precision as professional CAD software and has indeed added this epithet to its name with recent releases. DeltaCad can be extended, by writing your own custom macros in the Basic Programming language. You can use macros to automatically create objects, or to read in data, which you have drawn.
DeltaCad is developed by Midnight Software, Inc., Seattle, USA.
DeltaCad uses its own file format (.DC) but can read and write .DWG, .DXF, and .DXB files
