I would suggest that this line below be removed from the current bowl games subsection within Career History, and instead put something similar to his "SEC Champion (2019)" listing under Career highlights and awards. The Big Ten Championship is a conference championship, and not a bowl game.
- Removed CCG from bowls. Not gonna add it to career highlights because he was not the starter and the section is too long as it is. Ostealthy (talk) 15:29, 17 December 2019 (UTC)

Joe Burrow. Congratulations it is a well done page. If I may offer one suggestion?
The opening paragraph has a large problem. It reads “Burrow won the Heisman Trophy for the 2019 season. Before transferring to LSU, Burrow began his collegiate career at Ohio State.”
It makes many of the internet speed readers think Joe Burrow won his Heisman at Ohio State.
My suggestion: Burrow began his collegiate career at Ohio State before transferring to LSU where he worked with their coaches to evolve into a premier record setting quarterback. Burrow won the Heisman trophy his second and final year at LSU. Cnoteriot (talk) 16:35, 4 January 2020 (UTC)
- Cnoteriot, I don't think there's much opportunity for confusion as the article is currently written. Your suggestion also uses an unencyclopedic tone. Ostealthy (talk) 04:10, 5 January 2020 (UTC)
- Does "In 2019, his second and final season with LSU" not make it clear? ~ Dissident93 (talk) 21:34, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
- @Dissident93: the revision at the time of his comment did not include that phrase. Ostealthy (talk) 22:12, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
I agree the opening paragraph is worded awkwardly. Cam Newton's page is much better, reading: After starting his college football career as a backup to Tim Tebow at Florida, Newton transferred to Blinn College. He then joined Auburn, where he won the BCS National Championship and Heisman Trophy in 2010. I'm going to edit it to read something closer to that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jcarne7 (talk • contribs) 23:28, 10 May 2020 (UTC)

I'll take a look at this. My review should be complete sometime within the next 7 days. Bait30 Talk 2 me pls? 21:47, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
Lead
- lead looks good.
Early years
- "The elder Burrow, whose last coaching position was defensive coordinator for the Ohio Bobcats for more than a decade, retired after the 2018 season in part to be able to see all of Joe's games in his final college season.": personally, this sentence might a little bit out of scope. (3b)
- "One day while visiting the office": unclear what "the office" is referring to. (1a)
- "the seven year old had a future": might be better to say "the seven year old Burrow had a future" (1a)
- "Jimmy Burrow": try to keep it consistent. either Jim Burrow or Jimmy Burrow, but not both. (1a)
College career
- looks good
Professional career
- "Burrow was one of 58 players invited to the draft, which was held virtually due to social distancing regulations arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, where he was selected first overall by the Cincinnati Bengals." The "which was held virtually...pandemic" part isn't necessary in my opinion. And I would specify which draft. (1a/3b)
- "He became the first rookie n NFL history": fix minor typo (1a)
- Statistics table: instead of making "Career" an external link, just cite it in the same style as the College statistics table. In other words, make it a proper citation. (2b)

Do you think you are to good not to come to the premierm outlet mall for the people who can’t make it to your games? using a walker or crutches waiting on a full knee replacement and my soon to be son in law is on crutches with a torn acl but that’s ok. Never watch a bengals game again since you are a stuck up Ohio man.
