Alleged single status
Is it really one as per WP: SINGLESCRIT? ℛonherry☘ 20:10, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
- Yes. Under "Factors that suggest a song is a single", The song was serviced to radio stations with an official add date and "Factors that don't affect the legitimacy of a single", The song was only released in one territory/to one radio format. — Status (talk · contribs) 01:23, 31 October 2023 (UTC)
- I examined the article (using Google Translate of course) and it does say that "Slut!" was available on radio (anche 5 nuove canzoni, contenute in “1989 (Taylor’s Version)”: “Slut!” da oggi in radio, “Say Don’t Go (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault)”, “Now That We Don’t Talk (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault)”, “Suburban Legends (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault)” e “Is It Over Now? (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault)”.) So yes, it is a single, just that not a US single. Ippantekina (talk) 04:28, 2 November 2023 (UTC)

Slut! → "Slut!" – The quotation marks are part of the title, and multiple critics have pointed out the quotation marks as a defining feature of this song. Ippantekina (talk) 04:47, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
- Comment If that's the case, then should the song's title be written ""Like this"" (standard formatting quotation marks and quotation marks used in the title) in the article prose instead of "Like this" (standard formatting quotation marks only, currently used in the article prose)? QuietCicada - Talk 02:04, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
- We can do "'Slut'" (as in "'Heroes'"). Ippantekina (talk) 04:26, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
- Support based on above comparison to the article "Heroes" (David Bowie song). -JJonahJackalope (talk) 01:14, 8 December 2023 (UTC)

- Support per nom and because quotations marks are actual punctuation marks and not stylization. Stylization would be if it was titled "SluT!" or "5lut!" or something like that. 94.191.152.112 (talk) 15:03, 8 December 2023 (UTC)
