The material submitted on Dorothy McEwen was written by me, Jim R. Benfer, Jr., and posted originally on our web site at www.DigitalResearch.biz and then posted on WikiPedia recently as there was no entry for Dorothy McEwen. I grant full rights of use for this material to WikiPedia, so please remove any comments you have made to the contrary. We are maintaining a page for her on www.DigitalResearch.biz which is the official web page for the Digital Research family members which I and Patie McCracken run as DR family members. I'm not sure why you raised any issue to this as I made this clear at the time I posted the entry on Dorothy. Thank you.

API.php

Does API.php allow you to search for text inside an article? For instance, if I'm looking for the text "came out in", can I search all articles to find those that contain that text? -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 06:33, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Madman might have more to say about it, but I think the answer is yes (I haven't used it). See MW:API:Query - Lists. -- Rick Block (talk) 15:27, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Rick. Yes. list=search. prefix=sr. — madman bum and angel 02:49, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hm - are we not using a recent enough version? I note on the MW:API page above that it requires MW1.11, and we're using 1.11(alpha). The reason I ask is this doesn't seem to output anything. -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 04:53, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, all searches seem to be returning a null result set. We might need to wait for an update; I may try the latest build on my test installation. The only other thing I can think of is to poke a developer. — madman bum and angel 05:52, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RE:Talk:Chris Snopek

Thanks for the heads up, I know what I did wrong there. Thanks!--Kranar drogin 22:35, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think the reason PockBot does not edit anymore as the code is broken, so speedy approving the same code was probably not the correct move to make. Q T C 04:46, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, guess the code works, the install must be bad. Although I'm still going to go ahead and rewrite a version which scrapes less. Q T C 05:03, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
