(original article author here) I disagree, Teso definitely was significant. Not much of that media-attention-grabbing that others did, but ask anyone who monitored BUGTRAQ back then if they remember the group. Many first exploit releases (including many openbsd exploits, and in 2000 the first released openbsd remote in 3 years). Even made the media a few times, despite not trying to. The article was flagged for deletion before i could add more references. Some of those that i added now, might better be removed or moved to the link section. The article is somewhat unfinished, and i'm considering marking it as stub. But noone complained about that yet. If you need even more references, please google for "teso security" and "team teso". --[[User:Enki|Enki]] 29 June 2005 20:14 (UTC)

Many exploit discoveries and releases (e.g. in 2000, Teso's 2nd year, they robbed openbsd of their "no remote exploit in 3 years" label). They made the media a few times, despite not trying to.

I'll continue working on the article as time permits, but i hope to have provided enough references to show the article's significance to you. I disagree, Teso definitely was significant. Just ask anyone who monitored BUGTRAQ back then if they remember the group. Many exploit discoveries and releases (e.g. in 2000, Teso's 2nd year, they robbed openbsd of their "no remote exploit in 3 years" label). They made the media a few times, despite not trying to.

The article was flagged for deletion before i could add more references. Some of those that i added now, might better be removed or moved to the link section. The article is definitely not finished, and i'm considering marking it as stub. But noone complained about that. I'll continue working on the article as time permits, but i hope to have provided enough references to show the article's significance to you. If you need even more references, please google for "teso security" and "team teso". --Enki 29 June 2005 20:14 (UTC)
