Dirty Sanchez is a TV series (and film series) featuring three Welsh men, Pritchard, Dainton, "Pancho" and an English man Joyce, all of whom display a total disregard for their own health and engage in extremely self-harmful acts. It is known as Team Sanchez in the U.S. because of the original title's sexual reference. The show was originally based in Newport, Wales; but branched out into other areas, in the UK and even across the globe, in later seasons of the show.

Television show

The first series received mixed reactions, with some people claiming it was just a lacklustre imitation of the American show Jackass, while others, especially those previously offended by Jackass, complained it pushed the boundaries of taste too far out, due to a high content of extreme stunts and strong profanity, as well as full frontal male nudity.Their tagline is 'They make Jackass look like the Royal Shakespeare Company ', and also on the cover of the Dirty Sanchez The Movie DVD, there is another quote by MAXIM saying "Makes Jackass Look Like The Teletubbies."

First Series "Front And Rear End" (DVD Title)

It all started when Dainton and Pritchard started filming themselves skating and pranking each other, in a collection of bootleg videos called Pritchard vs Dainton. MTV decided to create a television series about these two men and their other two best friends in a show called Dirty Sanchez, a slang term for a sexual act. Each show features, among the many often controversial and always dangerous stunts, clips of themselves, their families, their friends and their workmates talking about them and their lives.it is said that the reason they filmed the first series like your getting to know them because they didn't want to be compared to jackass.

Jobs For The Boyos (Second series)

This new series focused on the lads visiting various workplaces and training with their staff for five days. These work experiences included a salon, a building site, a martial-arts training class, The Royal Marines Commando training camp, a Fire services training course and a ranch in Arizona where they train to be cowboys.

European Invasion (Third series)

The 4 boys travel around Europe causing more "Masochistic Mayhem", showing Pritchard losing his hair and other silly stunts. The areas visited include;

Behind The Seven Sins (Fourth series)

MTV aired Series 4 in 2007. It was titled Dirty Sanchez 4: Behind The 7 Sins and goes behind the scenes of the movie and shows the boys reactions to each sin that they had to perform, in each of the countries. These sins are : Lust, Greed, Envy, Sloth, Gluttony, Anger and Pride.

Put It Where You Want It Tour (Mini series)

Nike's football site nikefootball.com has currently four episodes of the tour up for download, and these can also be found on YouTube. These are :

The boys meet the players and allow them to kick footballs at them over and over again due to how powerful the players can kick. The boys toured to find out the most powerful kicker by getting hit.

Dirty Sanchez' Gumball 3000 2006

The Dirty Sanchez team were featured in the 2006 Gumball 3000, and kept a Blog of their exploits at Profileheaven. In the race, they drove a Nissan 180SX by the name of the Angry Pirate.

Dirty Sanchez: Stage Show

At the 2004 and 2005 Carling weekend at the Reading and Leeds festivals the Dirty Sanchez team performed a variety of stunts live onstage at the cabaret tent, including being dragged across a sandpapered stage on bare buttocks, and smoking a bong filled with their own urine, and with their own pubic hair instead of marijuana. They also appeared at the Leeds leg of the festival in 2006.

On the 1 June, 2007 Dirty Sanchez confirmed a full stage show with DJ at Reading Festival 2007.

They also performed live in the summer of 2007 every Monday at Bar M in Ibiza.

Dirty Sanchez: The Movie

Dirty Sanchez: The Movie, directed by Jim Hickey, was released on September 22, 2006. It is in the format of a world tour and incorporates stunts related to the Seven Deadly Sins. Stunts are on a larger scale and more extreme than stunts shown in the TV show. Stunts included in the film include:

• Pritchard getting a tattoo on his penis saying "I ♥ Dainton".
• Pancho getting his tongue stapled.
• Guessing game with Kathoeys. The boys have to guess if the kisser was a woman or a man
• The boys run cross a clay pigeon shooting range and get hit by the plates.
• Dainton smashing his forehead on rows of pins to get his money back.
• Pritchard tries to get another tattoo on his leg saying "Sleep When You're Dead" in Russian but as a prank it says "I love Johnny Knoxville". This can been seen during the end credits.
• Gullible Pritchard believing that he is attempting to beat the World Record for number of paintballs shot at a naked body (103), but the record doesn't actually exist.
• Dainton shoots himself on the penis with a BB gun
• Pritchard snorting Wasabi.
• Pancho undergoing liposuction in Bangkok, without general anesthetic.
• Dan Joyce consuming results of Pancho's liposuction.
• Pritchard having the end of his little finger on his right hand cut off in Japan with a cigar cutter.
• Pritchard and Dainton having a Thai Boxing match.
• Pritchard and Joyce live in a Slum for one night.
• Pritchard and Dainton superglueing Pancho's nostrils when he was asleep.
• Getting hit in the bum with baseballs by the Dominican Republics best baseball player.
• Going to England and playing a sport known as "Shin Kickings".
• Pritchard getting Daintons spit in his mouth.

The film also features the first cross over battle between two stunt groups. In their tour of Japan, the Dirty Sanchez team battles the Tokyo Shock Boys to see who is more extreme. In the end the Tokyo Shock Boys refuse to do a live show with Dirty Sanchez due to their disgusting antics.

The DVD of Dirty Sanchez: The Movie was released on 22 January, 2007 by Pathé Distribution Ltd.

The movie premiered on television on MTV One at 10.30pm on 5 August, 2007. Many of the scenes and stunts were cut short or not shown due to viewing reasons. TMF broadcast the movie later that month.

The movie premiered at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival. Described as Jackass on crack, the film is about "wicked nasty stunts such as liposuction drinking games, beer enema shotguns, things that shouldn't be done with male genitalia, and more...."

The film was released on DVD in North America on September 11 2007 by Dimension Extreme and Alliance Atlantis.

Featured stunts

Unlike Jackass, Dirty Sanchez' stunts are not named and classified, rather they just take place during a programme without notice, often catching the viewer by surprise. Stunts on Dirty Sanchez have included:

• "Griptape": Dragging Pritchard's arse along a strip of grip tape, the sandpaper-like material on top of skateboards, and then drenching it in vinegar and salt. This stunt was banned and was cut from the DVD.
• "Pancho Abuse": Pancho enjoys drinking copious amounts of alcohol, which more often than not leads to him passing out. When this happens, the other boys are quick to take advantage. So far, they have shaved his eyebrows off, taped his mouth shut and attached two dildos to his hands, inserted many cigarettes into his mouth, nose and ears, shaven a reverse mohican onto his head, superglued his nose shut and turned him into "The Hulk" using green spray paint.
• "Pubic Pizza": Competing against each other by seeing who can collect the most pubic hair from a range of people in a set amount of time, and the loser (the one with the least amount of hair) having to eat a pizza topped with the hair. Joyce failed to turn up and subsequently lost, was forced to eat the hair-covered pizza, and even continued eating after vomiting on it.
• "Beer Enema": A favourite trick of Pritchard's is to have beer or lager poured into his anus through a tube - he then fills a pint glass with the beer from his backside and Joyce drinks it. He throws the beer up again into the glass, before drinking it for a second time. This in turn causes Pancho to vomit his pizza.
• Volunteering to be bombarded with golf balls, hockey pucks, footballs and rugby balls from close range.
• Pritchard volunteering to have his penis pierced - with slightly bloody consequences. He has since used his Prince Albert piercing for additional shock value by hanging weights and various household objects from it.
• Stripping naked and attempting to buy beer from a cornershop, jumping in front of people, or surprising single male golfers.
• Nailing Pritchard's penis to a plank of wood using a U-shaped nail. This stunt has also been banned however it was banned after the release of the DVD and is only stopped from appearing on TV.
• Piercing their ears, tying weights to the earrings and throwing them down cliffs
• Each member running on a treadmill, collecting their sweat into a jar, and then holding hot stones for as long as possible. The loser is the person who drops it first, and must drink the jar of sweat, Joyce lost.
• Tying Pancho to the top of a ladder then pushing it over
• Generally abusing Pancho i.e. throwing bricks at his head, clamping a bike lock around his neck and having Joyce swallow the key. He eventually broke free after Joyce egested the key several days later (the boys left Pancho to find the key for himself inside the toilet bowl).
• Naked paintball
• Naked races over hurdles with barbed wire across the top.
• Pouring paint up their backsides and squirting it out onto a large sheet of paper on the ground.
• Shaving off Pritchard's hair. In the third series, Pritchard specifically asks Dainton not to touch his hair, as he has been growing it for three years and would not accept losing it in three seconds. Despite this warning, Dainton crept into his room one night and shaved off part of his hair. For the rest of the series, Pritchard is shown with a bald head.
• "Spunk Chops" is an unaired stunt, but is viewable on the first Series DVD. Each member would masturbate for 1 week and collect their sperm. The person with the least amount of sperm at the end of the week would have to take every other members sperm (including his own) and rub it into his face.....Pancho lost.
• Launching clay pigeon shooting targets at Pritch's head, causing deep cuts to the skull.
• Dangling their testicles over the pockets of a snooker table, to have snooker balls pelted at them at high speed.
• "The spunkey dunkey" each member of the sanchez group had to masturbate into a condom and whoever lost had to wear "the spunkey dunkey" over their head. This stunt is in the movie.
