Welton is a village in the West Lindsey District of the county of Lincolnshire in England. Can also known as Welton by Lincoln.

Welton is noted in geological circles for the rare chalk formation known as the 'Welton Band'. Ironically enough, the layer is not actually visible at Welton, but on just seven sites much further north east.

Welton has two pubs, The Falconer and The Black Bull, a Golf Course and a War Memorial.

The Welton Derby

Welton plays host to the infamous Welton Derby. The village is divided by The Ryland Road into the North who support Welton Football Club and the south who support Welton Sport and Social Club. The rivalry is a fierce one with regular clashes between the teams supporters and on Derby days Welton's one policeman is often overwhelmed by attendences of upwards of fifty. Derbies are uncommon however as the two teams are four divisions apart in the Lincoln area Men's Sunday League.

Welton F.C play in an all Blue strip and play at Manor Park Stadium which has a capacity of 1000.

Welton Sports and Social play in an all Green strip and play at Welton Parish Council Park Stadium which has a capacity of 1500.
