The Roman Catholic Diocese of Canarias {Latin: Canarien(sis)} is a diocese located in the Canary Islands in the Ecclesiastical province of Seville in Spain. She understands includes not quite Canaries, but the islands of Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote (Oriental Province).

History

  • 1351: Established as Diocese of Islas Canarias from the Diocese of Majorca
