The Larchmont Metro-North Railroad station serves passengers who wish to travel to or from Larchmont, New York, via the New Haven Line. Though mostly served by Stamford-originating locals, Larchmont is also the last stop on some peak hour trains originating at Harrison.

Larchmont is 18.7 miles from Grand Central Terminal and the average travel time from Grand Central is 40 minutes.

As of August 2006, weekday commuter ridership was 3,648, and there were 1,015 parking spots. [1]

It is the busiest Metro-North station between Stamford and New Rochelle. In 2001, average weekday inbound boardings were 3,584. [2]

Platform and track connections

This station has two high-level side platforms each 10 cars long. The northern platform, adjacent to Track 3, is generally used by westbound or inbound or Manhattan-bound trains. The southern platform, adjacent to Track 4, is generally used by eastbound or outbound or Connecticut-bound trains.

The New Haven Line has four tracks at this location. The two inner tracks, not adjacent to either platform, are used only by express trains.
