I thought the cylinders a on All Harleys from at least '37 on was 42.5 degrees; not 45 degrees?

Are you guys Sure the Knuckle was made during WWII? (Early '42-Aug. '45)? I thought only WLA's and XA's were made for the Armed forces during this period. I didn't think even Cop cars were made in the war years. And the 1946 models cars and bikes ( in Sept. '45) looked exactly like the 1942 models?
