False claims of vandalism
Please do not place unwarranted vandalism warnings on my talk page as you did today. I can only imagine this was a retaliatory act for the legitimate vandalism warnings I posted at User_talk:138.162.0.44 and User_talk:138.162.0.46 on February 25. As this IP address and those other two are all registered to the Corps Intranet and a few digits off from one another, it's reasonable to assume this activeity is all connected and likely the doing of a single person (i.e. the intended addressee of this message). If you actually want to file complaint against a productive, tenured, and decorated editor such as myself, I suggested you register yourself a username. Moreover, doesn't the U.S. Military have better uses for it resources than the disruption of a collaborative, international, civilian effort such as Wikipedia? Please stop disrespecting this effort and our country. Jweiss11 (talk) 19:56, 27 February 2010 (UTC) (Jonathan M. Weiss, New York, NY)

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Mackensen (talk) 22:26, 8 Jun 2005 (UTC)

This IP address is one of those used by the proxies associated with the US Department of the Navy (incl Marine Corps) via NMCI. As such, there is a very, very large range of people who use this address. It does not excuse whatever happens, it is just here for your information.

Please also bear in mind, as a result, this is a Wikipedia sensitive IP address. Please read about sensitive IP addresses before blocking

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia, which you are more than welcome to do.

Your edit to Shallow Deep

Your recent edit to Shallow Deep was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. If the bot reverted a legitimate edit, please accept my humble creator's apologies – if you bring it to the attention of the bot's owner, we may be able to improve its behavior. Click here for frequently asked questions about the bot and this warning. // Tawkerbot2 18:47, 16 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is your only warning. Your recent vandalism to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was profoundly malicious. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Caliga10 15:24, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 138.162.0.43). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.

When you edit pages:

 • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
 • Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
 • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
 • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type helpme in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my Talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. --Flex 19:41, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your suggestion! When you feel an article needs improvement, please feel free to make those changes. Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone can edit almost any article by simply following the Edit this page link at the top. You don't even need to log in (although there are many reasons why you might want to). The Wikipedia community encourages you to be bold in updating pages. Don't worry too much about making honest mistakes — they're likely to be found and corrected quickly. If you're not sure how editing works, check out how to edit a page, or use the sandbox to try out your editing skills. New contributors are always welcome. --AW 15:56, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a short time in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for repeated abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by replying here on your talk page by adding the text your reason here .

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia articles, such as those you made to May, even if your ultimate intention is to fix them. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.

While you may hold a legitimate opinion in line with orthodox views of sexuality, Wikipedia is not the place to discuss your own views, but rather a place to report fact, regardless of how you feel about these facts. Talmage 03:51, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is the only warning you will receive. Your recent vandalism, as you did to Trent Reznor, will not be tolerated. Although vandalizing articles on occasions that are days or weeks apart from each other sometimes prevents editors from being blocked, your continued vandalism constitutes a long term pattern of abuse. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Dr.K. logos 23:01, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Kyle Busch, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot.

 • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
 • Cluebot produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
 • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Kyle Busch was changed by 138.162.0.43 (u) (t) making a minor change with obscenities on 2009-12-11T07:56:37+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot (talk) 07:56, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
