Tuffy/Nibbles?

What can I say, this page is flawed, the on screen character is named Nibbles, even if renamed Tuffy on screen in 1957, based on the character in a comic maybe, but not the same, as the text here explains, Tuffy was the inspiration for Nibbles he wasn't Tuffy, someone has their wires crossed. Both "The Milky Waif" and the "Little Orphan" intro the character as Nibbles, when remade as "Feedin the Kiddie" (1956)the hungry little mouse is renamed Tuffy in the note from cousin George attached to the mouse, instead of Nibbles, but before then the character should still be referred to as Nibbles, Tuffy the comic ident, was given the characteristics of Nibbles from the cartoons, in effect Tuffy became Nibbles, not the other way round. The cartoon name was changed in 1956 but Nibbles stayed the same, Nibbles should be the primary name here, with Tuffy properly noted as the possible inspiration for the cartoon character.81.111.127.132 (talk) 10:36, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
