Nick Sharatt is a British illustrator and writer of children's books, and has been chosen to be the Official Illustrator for World Book Day 2006. He has written or illustrated more than 40 books for children. He lives in Gloucestershire, England.

Sharatt has illustrated several books by Jacqueline Wilson, one of the best-selling authors in Britain.
